Present BIPP West Midlands Region Photographer of the Year, Kevin Smith, entered three wedding images in The West Midlands branch of the British Institute of Professional Photographers, BIPP and received merits for all of his images. They included a black and white bridal portrait taken at St Peters Church, Hampton Lucy, near Stratford upon Avon . A black and white photograph of a couple at the Warwickshire venue Walton Hall and a dramatic colour photograph of a wedding couple in a Cornfield in the Cheltenham area of the Cotswolds.
Top photographer Pete Bristo judged the entries at top midlands wedding venue The Lea Marsdon Hotel.
Kevin also won merits for two landscapes and an advertising shot of a watch.
All the merit winners will now go forward to a final print judging to award the top places including "Wedding Photographer of the Year" and the overall title of "Photographer of the Year"
